We require all new garments or products to be sampled and approved by the customer before production begins. This is applies to changes to a product design (including changes to label placement, size, placement of detailing, textiles used).
Note that if you want to change your pattern this will incur another fee. We will only move into production once you are happy with the final sample.

Samples are important to ensure you are happy with the finish we can produce for you. The sample becomes a part of the contact and we will produce your products to this standard. We cannot offer refunds or remakes if you are unhappy with a sample.

Fabric and trims
In all CMT work the customer must supply all materials, trims and fabric. We will these for sampling and for production.

Customers need to provide a list of all fabrics and trims required for the product as part of the technical pack. We will check materials as they arrive for quality and amount is as stated in the list provided by the customer. We will confirm receipt with you. Production will only start once all materials have arrived.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure adequate amounts of all materials for production are sent.

If the wrong or inappropriate materials are supplied we reserve the right to stop work on an order until the correct materials are supplied.

If there is not enough fabric or trim provided to complete an order we will stop work until this is provided. Agreed delivery dates will be renegotiated when all materials have arrived. Refunds for products that could not be produced due to a lack of fabric will be looked at on a case by case basis.

Turnaround times
Customers should estimate 8 weeks for orders. Exact delivery times will be agreed with you when you place your order. We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure a spot in the production run. Exact timing cannot be guaranteed as this depends on how many designers we have already booked into the production schedule.

Postage
At the point of placing the order we will clarify delivery method and costs. Postage will be automatically added to your invoice. The amount will be based to the weight, size and destination. If you have your own courier, please let us know and we can arrange for you to have your ordered being picked up. We cannot accept any liability for any delivery instructions which you give to the delivery company, or any challenges with the delivery or courier company used. We are responsible for products at handover to the company and not after this point.

We offer delivery to a wide range of international destinations, contact us for costs. Note that deliveries to countries outside the European Union may be subject to customs clearance, tax and import thresholds which are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that we are updated if your address changes, please send all such information by email.

Packaging
Sustainability is at our core; we always opt for packaging that is low waste and recyclable/compostable but also ensures protection from transit damage. Where possible, we also reuse any packaging that is sent to us by clients, such as boxes and fillers, and we would encourage our clients to do the same.

If you have specific packaging requirements please let us know.

Returns and assurance of quality
We are unable to refund orders of bespoke items as these are created specifically for you. This means that we are not able to offer you a refund or a cancellation once the order has been accepted and manufactured.

To avoid disappointment we have a policy of samples being made and approved in all cases. We also guarantee quality and in the unlikely event that a product did not meet the quality standards, as defined by the sample, we will replace at no cost to you.

Dimensions for White Label products
Dimensions are approximate and may vary up to 5% +/-.
We shall not be liable for any variations on the specification of the white label products which do not materially affect the use and operation of the goods or for the substitution of any materials or component parts of the goods by other materials or parts of a quality equivalent or superior to that originally specified.

Cancellation
If an order is cancelled at least 8 working days before the production date, there will be no cancellation fee. If an order is cancelled after this point, AND it causes a gap in the production schedule resulting in loss of earning (i.e. we do not have another job ready to go), we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the cost of the project.

If an order has been started and a client requests a cancellation or postponement, we reserve the right to request the order is paid in full at the time of cancellation.

Faults
We have QC checks prior to all products being shipped to ensure our work meets your standard. However, there’s always a small possibility that something slips through this process. In the unlikely event that you find fault with the stitching please let us know within 30 days of the order arriving with you and we will do our best to fix the product.

If items cannot be fixed we will offer a refund on them. Refunds will be paid once products are received the fault has been checked.

Refunds and repairs cannot be offered on products where a repair has already been attempted by the client.

Confidentiality, intellectual property and storage
Your IP and designs will be taken care of while with us, and we will ensure visitors to the studio can view work in production.
