Leaving her past in costume and textile design, Mel now works primarily in graphic design, with a particular focus on the not-for-profit and charity sector in Ireland. Mel believes in the power of design to contribute to social change and to create connections between people. Mel has a number of passion projects each year that allow her to play with new ideas and work in new mediums. In 2018 We Make Good was lucky enough for one of Mel’s personal projects to include the design of her ideal calendar, which is a no-fuss clean format that can be tailored to the needs of any user. For 2019, going back to her original design roots Mel is working on a range of textiles for us.
