“Knitting communities together” - Shuttleknit is an inspirational partnership between the Traveller and settled community. This social enterprise provides employment for Traveller women in knitting and textile construction work. Donegal wool is used to bring the designs of leading Irish designers, Claire-anne O’Brien to life for We Make Good. Shuttleknit is a workspace where everyone is treated with equality, respect and valued for the work they put in. As a not for profit organisation, all profits go straight back into the people and are used for ongoing training, upskilling and personal development.
