Textiles Studio

In Summer 2019, We Make Good launched a training and employment programme for women from a refugee background in Dublin. Machine knitting, sewing and garment construction and textile printing form the core of the work, with some hand knitting and crochet thrown into the mix too. We are currently employing three women part time, led by tailor extraordinaire, Ginan Abbas and aim to provide  a supportive and enjoyable workspace for our team of amazing women, who have come through, or are still in, Direct Provision.
