12 Days of Christmas Decoration - Neasa Tierney
This decoration is part of a set of 12 decorations inspired by a newly rewritten version of the old festive song, seeking to modernise Christmas traditions for a more inclusive modern Ireland. All proceeds are being used to train and upskill women from refugee backgrounds in We Make Good’s Textile Studio. The decorations themselves are being crafted by participants of Cairde Enterprises, an education and training centre in Limerick which works with men and women who have experience of the criminal justice system.
Rainbow Stockings –Christmas is a time for traditions but that doesn’t mean it has to be so traditional. Red is festive but we’ll take our stockings in rainbow and wear them with Pride.
