12 Days of Christmas Decoration - Kathi Burke
This decoration is part of a set of 12 decorations inspired by a newly rewritten version of the old festive song, seeking to modernise Christmas traditions for a more inclusive modern Ireland. All proceeds are being used to train and upskill women from refugee backgrounds in We Make Good’s Textile Studio. The decorations themselves are being crafted by participants of Cairde Enterprises, an education and training centre in Limerick which works with men and women who have experience of the criminal justice system.
A (locally made, ethically crafted) gift for my zero-waste tree – We want to start a new tradition of tree-decorating that’s kind to the earth, so your tree says the right things about you, even when you’re not in the room.
